Appearance

Yuuhei is average in height and stature, with a round face and little extra padding around the middle - at least by Japanese standards, which by no means makes him overweight. Just a little soft. His hair is bottle blond, meticulously maintained so his black roots are hardly ever showing, and his eyes are a deep brown when he isn't wearing his blue colored contacts. He is quite pale, reflecting his very indoor lifestyle. When dressed casually, Yuuhei prefers tightly fit jeans and soft, oversized tops and sweaters. He likes to accessorize with the many sterling silver rings, necklaces, and bracelets that his fans have gifted him over the years. 

Background

Yuuhei's childhood and upbringing was quite average, but from a young age he showed interest and unique promise in all things techy. He came of age during Tokyo's great cybernetics and AI boom, got involved in the scene as a hobbyist early on, and as such cybernetics is like a second language to him. After his graduation from Tokyo University, Yuuhei was promptly hired by a major AI company and spent his early adulthood designing, programming, and maintaining the earliest models of very advanced cyborg technology. However, as the AIs they were designing grew increasingly self-aware, Yuuhei's quiet misgivings about how robots and androids were created, used, and abused grew into a full-on ethical dilemma. Eventually, he decided he could no longer support the field as it was, literally creating and playing with sentient lives. Yuuhei quit his very lucrative job with the company and instead decided to focus on his other hobby, music.

Though he now plays guitar in a band, Yuuhei just couldn't give up his first love. He now maintains a none-too-modest presence on the underground web (under a pseudonym, of course) as a freelance programmer and repairman for cybernetics, androids, and robotics. Some of his clients might be a little shady, but given Yuuhei's own moral quandaries about what he does, he doesn't ask questions - he just accepts payment.
